Vesper No. 9 is set with matched 1 carat emerald-cut stones positioned vertically in a four-prong setting. The orientation follows the full axis of the cut with clean corners held securely at each end. The setting is aligned at the back and does not rise above the post, allowing the face to remain even and unobstructed. Prongs are rounded and minimal, positioned away from the step facets to avoid interference.

Both studs sit flat against the ear with no forward tilt, and the spacing between mount and backing is measured to hold its position without lift. Both are constructed to sit at an identical angle, holding the same orientation once worn.
